Tim Evans

I’m a multidisciplinary designer with industry experience in advertising, illustration, visual communication and design, and as an art director working for creative agencies in Sydney.

I have been fortunate enough to have worked on storyboards and creative direction for films, TVC, advertising campaigns, motion graphics for television and large-scale events, designed for a variety of clients and illustration projects for print, broadcast, and web.

I’m ambitious and passionate about the projects I’m part of and work hard to deliver the best design solutions for the client and the product.

Amy Manning

I am a creative designer and art director with experience in creative agencies, advertising and publishing. I specialise in conceptualising and creating artwork for brands and developing brand identities, designing marketing campaigns, advertising, activations and 3D product development.

I have exceptional art-working skills and the capabilities to roll out concepts across print, digital, packaging and products.

With a solid background in publishing, a passion for colour and type and a talent for simplifying complicated problems, I bring clear-cut through and memorable messaging to all my projects.

Multidisciplinary

We have experience in magazine publishing, TV production and advertising. We’ve designed logos, posters, flyers, packaging and branding, built websites, created graphics for broadcast and explainers, developed 3D renders for products and spaces, conceptualised and executed visuals for events, and rolled out all finished art for both digital and print campaigns. Phew!

Not an agency

We are freelance designers who just happen to provide most of the creative skills an agency would. We can project manage ourselves and we don’t outsource. We like it this way, it allows for flexibility, your lines of communication are direct, we are responsive, work quickly and are much more affordable and efficient than a typical design agency.

Whether you’re building a small side-hustle or you’re an international account manager for a billion-dollar business, we treat all our clients and projects with the same level of respect and effort. We are a team

While you only ever pay the hourly rate for one designer, you effectively get two for the price of one. What this means is we share the work based on the type of project. For example, Tim is an excellent motion graphics designer and illustrator while Amy is the campaign and branding guru. So depending on the project, you'll get the expert with the most expereince.

You will save money

You only pay for the work we do, you don’t have to worry about super, tax, holiday pay, sick pay or equipment. We're happy to work to hourly rates, day rates, retainers or fixed quotes per project. Whatever works best for you is fine with us.

You can scale based on projects

If you have an initiative, campaign or product launch that requires an extra amount of effort, on top of regular work duties, we work together providing support for the additional workflow without the need for extra hires or more stress on your team.

We offer an outside perspective

We see the inner workings of many different types of businesses and can offer a fresh perspective on what could work for you. With one foot out in the wild, we are always looking for the next trends and can recognise when something is a genuinely great idea or just a fad.

Maybe you're not sure about the working relationship?

Perhaps you've not worked with freelancers before or worse, you have and it didn't work out. We suggest you pick a project as a test run. Try us out and if the working relationship still isn’t the right fit, no stress! We finish the project and you can move on.

Company culture is important to you

It is important to us too. We are always available for a chat, we might not be there physically but we are only a phone call, zoom meeting or text away. We also always like to make time for face-to-face catch-ups whenever possible.

Managing motivational levels

We understand it can be nerve-wracking for a business to not have eyes on an employee, how can you really know they’re doing what they are supposed to do? We see ourselves as a small business too, this means we live and die by our clients and connections. It does no good to us to leave people feeling underwhelmed or disappointed with our output. That’s why we like open lines of communication and full transparency. Daily conversations, working timelines with milestones and deadlines - which we can self-manage, and ultimately, great work delivered are the metrics you can use to feel comfortable and know you’re getting value from us.
